North Road is one of the last areas to be developed by the City of Burnaby. Looking at the City plans for the area will tell you that a mixed use residential development which encourages a pedestrian orientated lifestyle is favoured here. That means walking trails, courtyards, green spaces and plenty of shopping. The new North Road will be a haven for the person or family who is looking for an community village experience. While growth has already begun with the building of the Silhouette Towers and North Gate Mall, we anticipate that developers will want to take advantage of the influx of residents and visitors that the Evergreen line promises.
Construction of the much touted Evergreen Line is slated to start in the Spring of 2012. The line will start from Lougheed Station, run up the centre of North Road on an elevated platform through Port Moody and on to Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. We have witnessed the growth in residential developments that have sprouted up along the Millennium Line, so we expect to see similar development on North Road.
By virtue of the vicinity to the sky train people will be able to take full advantage of this proposed village ambience. We are poised for development, and offer an unprecedented growth in an area featuring a one of a kind Korean Shopping area, award winning restaurants, services and schools.
